Anthony Smith

William joined the University of Washington in June 2011. He received the B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and the M.S. degree from the University of Utah under Reid Harrison. His M.S. thesis discussed the robust transmission of data transcutaneously through inductively coupled links. He has held industry positions at Advanced Micro Devices and Spansion. During the Ph.D., his primary research focus has been on the development of high-density electrocorticography sensor systems for use in Brain-Computer Interfaces.
